On the morning of 07/19/24 we received a phone call from our arena manager with some unfortunate news: Little Caesars Arena has canceled our date of 09/07/24 due to a scheduling conflict. This risk shouldn’t have been there, as our team did their due diligence and had many conversations with the venue, but a change of managers and information created our current dilemma.

After the news we pressed to see if anything could be done, different venues, squeezing the conversation with Little Caesars etc.. Unfortunately we will not be able to make 09/07/24 work.

We want to be abundantly clear. This is NOT a cancellation of our event but a RESCHEDULE, we have asked all of our vendors to hold their deposits and all of our teams have said they are with us and are ready for a new date.
As we’ve counseled with our team and with spiritual fathers, the reality is we have an opportunity to mobilize an even greater event! There were some clear directives we felt from the start of this move.

• - Signs and wonders

We believe all 3 have been brewing as our team has pushed towards September, but we trust the Lord is going to use this small scheduling change for a greater harvest.

“You meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive” Genesis 50:20

Please know, in the next week we will be sitting down with a round table of our team members and local counsel to ensure a new date is locked in for the very near future.

We’d like to apologize for any scheduling arrangements some of you have made to attend the September event, it weighs heavy on our hearts and we never took those commitments lightly. We ask you to forgive us if you’ve made any special arrangements and ask that you stick with The Uprise in this great dream to unite the Church of Metro Detroit and see real change through prayer, repentance and acts of love.

As soon as we have more information available (new arena date, how we will handle city-wide outreach, etc.) we will share it. Currently, this is all the information we can give.
